Nigeria Confirms 206 New Cases at COVID-19

Nigeria has recorded 206 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of people who have tested positive to 169,884 in the country.

On Wednesday morning, July 21, 2021, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) stated this on its website, https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/.

“The 206 new cases have been recorded from ten states: Lagos (132), Akwa Ibom (56), Ekiti (5), Delta (3), Rivers (2), Enugu (2), Jigawa (2), Katsina (2), Gombe (1), and the Federal Capital Territory (1),” according to the NCDC.

According to the NCDC, as of July 20, 169,884 cases had been confirmed, 164,733 cases had been treated and released, and 2,128 deaths had been documented.
