Kanye West, a music producer from the United States, has announced the release of his new album Donda.
According to Hollywood Reporters, the album’s release date was announced during Game 6 of the NBA finals on Tuesday.
The album will be published on Friday, according to the announcement, which was made via an advertisement for Beats by Dre headphones.
The live-streaming album listening event, however, will take place in Atlanta on July 22, one day before the album’s formal release.
A listening party for the rapper and gospel musician’s new album will be webcast live on Apple Music.
West’s new song, “No Child Left Behind,” is featured in the commercial, which also features US celebrity runner Sha’Carri Richardson doing a 100m in slow motion.
The song was scored and edited by West himself, according to a tweet from the headphone firm.
Richardson also announced on her verified Instagram profile that a new commercial and song by West will be published tomorrow, ahead of the album’s release.
“Life will have ups and downs, but it’s crucial to remember to run your own race,” she wrote.

“I’m a huge fan of @beatsbydre and @kanyewest. Thank you for your help. Tomorrow, a new commercial and a new Ye song will be released! Donda is scheduled to leave on Friday. Let’s get started.”
Donda is the name of West’s late mother, who died away in 2007.
Pusha T, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, and Baby Keem are said to be among the artists on Donda.
West’s new album is his first full-length release since Jesus is King, which he released in 2019.
